Chris Foster, Music Coordination

“Changing The World One Song At A Time”

Chris Foster is a tremendously accomplished guitarist, and is a widely recognized New Thought songwriter.

He began to play guitar at the age of 12 and writing original music almost simultaneously. Over the years his performing career and his writing steadily evolved. He has performed in Europe on 3 separate occasions. He has been a guitarist for Disney World, and to date has entertained a whole host of high profile corporate clients such as Toyota, Arthur Anderson, and Merck, Heinz, Raymond James, and many more. He has composed nearly 300 songs in his career of multiple genres and has had his music recorded by nationally renowned Smooth Jazz artist, Stacey Knights.  

In 2003 Chris’ original project  “Cayo Hueso”  was recognized by Florida’s Monroe County government for its significant historical content and was proclaimed by the same body as the official “ballad of the keys” CD. In 2005 Chris’ song “Charles Gibbs” placed second at the South Florida Folk Fest National Songwriters Competition.  In 2006 Chris had three songs selected by the Association of Unity Churches for publication in the “One Voice” songbook. He has released five CD’s with a sixth due out in spring of 2008.

Chris  has served as Music Director for three Unity Churches and is currently serving as our Music Coordinator at Unity of the Heartland. Chris is a member of the Positive Music Association. Chris is married with 3 children and resides just outside of Kansas City in Liberty, Missouri.
